Yesterday was declared as Special Holiday due the barangay ans SK election.This is per proclamation 1403.
Today I am supposed to be on training,but my "boss" never allowed me.=(
Anyway, today I check the connection problem regarding the one of the oldest tester here...The problem is the PE cannot connect from her PC.
I also did some assessment or checking of one of our Windows based tester.They are requesting for a software installation.But this is an application software/program which is suppose to be a task for the PE since they have their training about their application.But just to help and close the issue I did,actually as I was to install it the maint/technician guy told me that he already did the re-installation,but they are still encountering the error...

I had a printing problem handled again...
We also helped our groupmate to restore or get the files that the PE needs.This were the files overwritten when one of our wafer handler/tester crashed last week.We are using a software for it.
I also logged a case ID to our vendor/support for the disk failing of one of the server of our "dedicated" customer.

I had 2 printing problem today and they are both using an UNIX based testers...Actually they are 3 testers but the PE who requested/reported the problem made only one resquest/report for two testers.I onle cleared the print queues of the two testers.In the last printing problem I only delete a certain file in their local directory which affects the run of their script for printing the summary.I think that files has something to do wth the script or a part of simulating the script.I can't explain it further since i'm not the owner/I 'm not the one who created the script.
Next just check/verify for the service tag of the Dell EMC2 of own by the customer.
Lastly,I need to re-restore from image back-up one of our wafer tester.Since the original HDD will be with my "boss" and he will try to recover the file in it before restoring to it.Some background,a maint guy ask help from our group,the HDD is corrupted,actually it was not the problem is that the system32 folder was deleted.(HUH???)We just don't know if its intetionally or just an accident.(Remember when you delete a file in Window there is still a prompt asking you if your sure to delete the file....) my group mate asked the maint if there are no files needed in the HDD the maint guy answered none So he proceeds with the restoration.After a few hour,here comes the PE asking for the files saved in the HDD...tsk tsk

I assisted / checked the network connection of one of the tester of our "dedicated customer.(how many "of" did I mention.lolz)Our customer will connect to the tester from their headquarters in US.The port is not activated that's why there is no network connection...

I assess the looping booting problem of the tester computer of one of our UNIX based tester.The problem with this one is that there ain't no monitor for the tester computer and you don't know if you execute a shutdown command where it will run/execute,in the tester computer or user computer.The user computer is doing fine...
I also check the serial no of the Dell EMC2 owned by one of our customer for their asset audit.There was a several serial numbers at the back and i'm confused which one is the right one so I emailed all of the serial numbers I got to our customer.

It's Monday again =(
Anyway,had work to do...
We had an asset audit for one of our customer having their own servers...Got Action Item for this.
Had a netowrk configuration of one of our upgraded tester.Not only network configuration but our group's configuration which includes the installation of different softwares neede like the anti virus and VNC (for remote access).The PE also needs to have a CD-rom,since the tester doesn't have and he need it for the driver of the card installation.What I did is share the CD-rom of the PC next to the upgraded tester.
I also have a image restoration of a handler(?).

I asses the data retrieval of one of our"dedicated" customer.According to the PE the directory is common,which means it is only mounted,so what they see in the directory is also what's in the server.So the files they are looking for are not in the server.And unfortunately we are having problem wih our tape drive...
I continue the printer reconfiguration.The network printer is not on line the port it uses is not activated and there is no available active port near the printer so I waited for our network guy to activate the port..And After that configure the testers...
